    • RH-DOCS: The complete Official Red Hat Linux guides, available in HTML and PDF formats

Packages on the CD, which you can download and install on your local machine, are in the following directories:

If you want to quickly install from the command line, open an Xterm window, change to the directory which holds your package and type rpm -Uvh packagename.rpm. For example, to install the Official Red Hat Linux Getting Started Guide, type the following:

    # cd /mnt/cdrom/RPMS/
    # rpm -Uvh rhl-gsg-6.2en-2.noarch.rpm

The documents will be installed in the /usr/doc directory; to view them, just point your browser to the location on your local machine. If you're going to read the documents from the CD, follow the above links to the HTML versions.
