Can you tell me where the public_html will end up when I do this. For various reasons I want it in my primary ibay

I found that installation failed due to permission MySQL permissin problems. This is rectifed by this comment on the forums by Abe.
#> mysql #mysql> grant all on geeklog.* to geeklog@localhost identified by 'geeklog'; #mysql> quit;

Ian, the entire geeklog install (including public_html) ends up in /opt/geeklog*. Thanks for posting that, I'll double-check the rpm. Also, somebody else mentioned the same thing about wanting geeklog as the primary site. I'll see if I can put something together for that, too.

Abe, your RPM installer performed wonderfully on my SME Server v6.0.1-01 - thank you:) However I'm normally used to this sort of stuff going into an iBay... Presumably it's a bit safer in /opt/geeklog*/...? The new Geeklog CMS progresses well. The one hitch I haven't overcome is that of embedding Gallery v1.4.4 - even with its declared full support - into Geeklog. After running the Gallery installer for Geeklog embedding all I get is a blank screen. The server's log shows an open_basedir restriction issue... systa httpd: PHP Warning: open_basedir restriction in effect. File is in wrong directory in /home/e-smith/files/ibays/ic/html/gallery/init.php on line 162 ...which is why in the past I've always elected to put this sort of stuff out there in an iBay;/ I can't even set temporary directories down at /tmp/ (ie for Gallery) without running into this protection issue and always end up making new user tmp directories out in the iBay. Is there something you might be able to prescribe?
