Great information and very useful. However, can you point us to the location where the kernel RPM's are located for the SME 6 variants. When installed SME6 is using kernel 2.4.20-18 and currently i have been unable to find these files. RedHat 8 and 9 both use earlier versions of the kernel (2.4.20-8) If i remember correctly.

I am attempting to build a Driver for a Promise SATA TX4 Raid card, the supplied driver with the card is using a very early kernel and will not install properly.
