The QA Publish stage is used to check a package before it enters the updates-testing channel, see QA Verify.
- A bug report is raised in the contribs.org Bug Tracker by the maintenance team. See Update Identify.
- The Core Development team, and the community, may comment on the Bug Report.
- The bug report will stay at New for a few days to allow time for comments.
If there is no negative feedback then the package is published:
- The RPM and SRPM are moved into the updates-testing directory
- An email is sent to devinfo@lists.contribs.org for each package entering the testing queue.
- The bug report status is set to Feedback as all users are encouraged to enter feedback on the update.
