This package is Intel's release of Data Center Bridging (DCB) software.
DCB is a collection of emerging standards-based technologies designed to allow
Ethernet to support multiple types of traffic classes in the Data Center.
This release of the package is designed to work with the DCB kernel interface
and ixgbe driver that are included in the Linux kernel 2.6.29 or higher.

Use this package with the latest ixgbe driver (2.0.38.2 or newer).

Files included in this release:
- dcbd-0.9.15.tar.gz - includes source code for dcbd and dcbtool, a daemon and
  utility for running the DCB Capabilities Exchange protocol and managing the
  DCB configuration. See the enclosed README for more details.

Changes from dcbd-0.9.7 to 0.9.15
- Default to DCBX version 2.  
- No longer advertises DCBX version 1 TLV when in version 2.
- Save and restore DCBX state information on daemon stop and restart.
- Use SAN MAC address if it is provided by the driver.
- Set LLDP socket priority to TC_PRIO_CONTROL to prevent priority tagging.
- Various bug fixes.
