Overview
--------
The DFW package contains a number of components, classes and routines
for Borland Delphi with full source code. This library is compatible
with Borland Delphi 2, 3, 4, 5. It has not been tested with any C++
Builder version. Some components does not work with older Delphi
versions! The package has not been tested with Delphi 3.
Because this is the first beta version the DFW set still contains a
lot of bugs! Please mail the corresponding author mentioned in the
source file itself.
Read Compatibility section for more information.
The DFW package is a freeware product. Feel free to distribute the
library as long as all files are unmodified and kept together.
The authors disclaim all warranties as to this software, whether express
or implied, including without limitation any implied warranties of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Use under your own
responsibility, but comments are always welcome.
If you want to use the DFW package you must completely, without any
restrictions, agree to the DFW license agreement!

1) The origin of this software must not be misrepresented, you must
not claim that you wrote the original software. If you use this
software in a product, an acknowledgment in the product
documentation would be appreciated but is not required.
2) Altered source versions must be plainly marked as such, and
must not be misrepresented as being the original software.
3) This notice may not be removed or altered from any source
distribution.
4) You must credit the DFW team in your software including a link
to the DFW homepage at http://www.delphifreeware.de
5) You are not allowed to publish the DFW package on any homepage,
CD, disk, etc without the agreement of the DFW team!
6) Donations are always welcome!
7) An updated license agreement can be found on the DFW homepage.
Compatibility
-------------
This version of the DFW package is written and full tested with
Borland Delphi 5 Client/Server Edition and
Borland Delphi 5 Enterprise Edition.
The DFW package was tested on
Borland Delphi 2 Standard Edition,
Borland Delphi 4 Standard.
If you notice some bugs or some strange behaviour of the DFW
package please notice the authors!
Installation
------------
Unzip ralib.zip.
Uninstall previous installed version of the DFW package!
1. Delphi 5:
Use "File\Open..." menu item of Delphi IDE to open DFWD5.DPK.
In "Package..." window click "Compile" button to
compile packages DFWD5.DPK. This file contains all components
and the component editors.
Then you must open the DFWPropertyEditorsD5.DPK.
In "Package..." window again click "Compile" button. Now the
property editors have been installed. To use the TDFWButton
component correctly you must install this package!
2. Delphi 4:
Use "File\Open..." menu item of Delphi IDE to open DFWD4.DPK.
In "Package..." window click "Compile" button to
compile packages DFWD4.DPK. This file contains all components
and the component editors.
Then you must open the DFWPropertyEditorsD4.DPK.
In "Package..." window again click "Compile" button. Now the
property editors have been installed. To use the TDFWButton
component correctly you must install this package!
3. Delphi 3.x:
WARNING! The DFW Package has not been tested with Delphi 3!
Install it at your own risk! I cannot guarantee that these
instructions will properly work!
Use "File\Open..." menu item of Delphi IDE to open DFWD3.DPK.
In "Package..." window click "Compile" button to
compile packages DFWD3.DPK. This file contains all components
and the component editors.
Then you must open the DFWPropertyEditorsD3.DPK.
In "Package..." window again click "Compile" button. Now the
property editors have been installed. To use the TDFWButton
component correctly you must install this package!
4. Delphi 2.x and C++ Builder 1:
Use the "Install..." item on Delphi's "Component" menu to add
the DFWVCLREG.pas and DFWPropertyReg.pas.PAS units to the component
library. These units registers all required components and
property editors!
